LDE is a forward-thinking and well-resourced engineering company with an exciting opportunity for a graduate to join the geotechnical team in our Warkworth office. The role will involve working along side and being guided by the local team of engineers and scientists to support and service clients in and around the Warkworth area.
With added support from the multidisciplinary team in the office and others from across the Auckland region, you will have all the tools available to develop your career and build confidence and knowledge to become a positively contributing member of the team. We encourage our people to embrace different experiences – this role has arisen because of an internal transfer to another office. The workload and support remains to bring a graduate (up to 2 yrs post grad) into the business to start their professional journey.

About the Role:
Depending on your experience, there will be technical work to varying degrees of responsibility which could include at least the following with training provided as required:
- Scala penetrometer tests; Hand auger boreholes; Test pits and CPT
- Logging core samples; Slope survey profiling; Permeability testing
- Fill testing; Clegg hammer testing
- Proposal preparation, report writing,
- Client and contractor liaison.
About the required competencies:
The technical competencies essential to this position are:
- Bachelor of Science (Geology) / Bachelor of Engineering (Civil)
- Up to 2 years post graduate experience in New Zealand.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Suite
- At least a restricted Driver’s License.
