On a Friday morning, March 22nd, staff of LDE’s Bay of Plenty office gathered at the picturesque Te Puke Golf Course to show their support for the annual Papamoa Rotary and Bluehaven Charity Golf Tournament. This marked the third consecutive year that LDE proudly sponsored this event, making their name a recognisable fixture on the 9th tee. Blessed with perfect Bay of Plenty autumn weather, the day began with a light dew that soon gave way to radiant sunshine, setting the stage for an enjoyable day of golf for a great cause.
The LDE team, comprising Stu, Megan, Johan, and Liam, set off with enthusiasm, unencumbered by any pressure from their colleagues. As the scores were tallied, it was evident that on this day, golf emerged as the ultimate winner. Moreover, the Papamoa Rotary achieved a remarkable feat by surpassing their $40,000 fundraising target, a significant achievement benefiting the youth of the Papamoa & Te Puke areas.
