If you came looking for Lander Geotechnical, you are in the right place. The geotechnical work Lander did across Auckland and the upper North Island now runs through LDE Engineers & Scientists, out of our South Auckland office on Ti Rakau Drive.
What has changed
Lander Geotechnical joined LDE, and landergeotechnical.co.nz now points here. Nothing about the engineering has changed: the same investigations, the same reporting, the same people who know the ground under Auckland. What is different is the size of the team standing behind it.
LDE is an engineering and environmental consultancy working across New Zealand, so a project that starts as a geotechnical investigation can pick up civil design, structural work, contaminated land assessment or consenting support without you having to go and find another consultant for each one.
The geotechnical work
Lander built its name on land development and building work across South and East Auckland. That is still core to what LDE does, alongside a wider set of ground engineering services:
- Geotechnical investigation and reporting for subdivision, building consent and due diligence
- Cone penetration testing, boreholes, test pits and hand augers, with our own CPT rig
- Foundation and pavement design advice
- Slope stability and geomorphic assessment
- Liquefaction and seismic site class assessment
- Construction monitoring and site observation during earthworks
