TCC Category 1 or 2 Geo-Professional
Working with Tauranga City Council requires Category 1 or 2 accreditation, and LDE is looking for an accredited geo-professional to resource that requirement in-house.

About the role
You will undertake analysis and design for key projects, including those of a specialist nature and those requiring strong technical input. Senior reviews will make up part of your week, alongside proactive guidance to less experienced members of the team on improvements they could make. From time to time, construction monitoring and site observations will be needed.
The Tauranga team are hard-working, supportive and fun in equal measures. You will also be part of a national team with a varied workload: big, small, simple, complex and challenging.
There is also the option of taking the lead role in the technical management of the geotechnical team in Tauranga. If that is something you would like to explore, please say so in your application so we can build it into our assessment.

You will have demonstrated initiative and confidence in your work, and you will live in the Bay of Plenty.
Key requirements
TCC Category 1 or 2 Geo-Professional; technically proficient and experienced with New Zealand and Bay of Plenty soils; self-motivated and able to mentor, lead and guide the geotechnical and geological team.
