LDE at ALGA: Spotlight on Environmental Standards

LDE recently exhibited and presented at the recent Australasian Land and Groundwater Association (ALGA) conference in Auckland. It was fantastic to connect with fellow industry professionals and exchange insights.

A highlight of the event was Jeff Davenport, our Senior Scientist, co-presenting on a legal case. Jeff was a key witness, assisting the Gisborne District Council in securing New Zealand's first conviction under the RMA National Environmental Standard for contaminated land (NES-CS). His contributions underscored LDE’s commitment to advancing environmental standards and protecting our communities.

We extend our gratitude to ALGA for their warm hospitality and for organising such a well-run conference. As exhibitors, we enjoyed the spotlight and look forward to the next conference.   We encourage others to get involved in events like this, as they offer excellent exposure and provide attendees with engaging displays, activities, and meaningful discussions between sessions.
