Automating Production Forecasts

Our clients routinely review processing options against the long term strategic mine plans for various flowsheet options and different mining techniques. The number and complexity of the models means the task can be challenging using existing models and checks.

WGA’s Data Analytics team delivered a streamlined forecast model to evaluate over 20 strategic expansion cases for a complex copper and uranium deposit. In collaboration with the Owner’s team, WGA increased the team’s productivity by automating stockpiling, smelter sizing and report generation, allowing for rapid validation of the models and comparison of expansion options.

Our client can now focus on strategic evaluation based on a robust model to select the optimum way forward for their business.
