BAE Williamstown Wharf

Our challenge was to work with our client to develop a cost-effective manufacturing solution. Our engineering solutions enabled BAE Systems to fix the large island modules to the deck of the Royal Australian Navy’s largest ship, the Landing Helicopter Dock, with the minimum of infrastructure investment. Our condition assessments of all existing wharves and jetties, design of a new mooring dolphin and jetty modifications, geotechnical investigations including a seismic refraction study, and design of temporary over water support structure for a 600t mobile crane resulted in significant project time and cost savings.
