Concordia College
Project Overview
WGA has enjoyed a long association with Concordia College having provided design works for several buildings at the school.
We have designed the two-storey Yangadlitya Library/ Resource Centre, the Murtoa Media, Music and Middle school building, two separate elevated balcony seating areas within the Chapel and the Main Hall, the Administration Building extension (pictured) and an earthquake investigation and strengthening upgrade works for the old Administration wing.
Most recently WGA completed the design of Nautilus Centre which was opened late 2017. The centre is an immersive learning facility for Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Mathematics (STEAM). This is exemplified through the design of the building which demonstrates a number of mathematical, scientific and artistic principles. In 2018 the building received a commendation in the Australasian Region LEA Awards in the category of new facilities under $8m.
