Geotech Bridge Investigation

LDE conducted geotechnical investigations for a bridge extension to accommodate a cycleway at Crosses Road.  The cycleway was to be supported by the construction of an elevated steel framework and supported mainly by extensions to the existing concrete piers.  Liquefaction and lateral spreading were significant constraints to overcome.

Our geotechnical report assisted in the design of the support and the overall structural design.
