Iluka Module Relocation

WGA performed the structural analysis and strengthening works for the successful like and relocation of Iluka’s mine plant from Ouyen, Victoria to a new site 30km away. The plant included four modularised buildings with more than 30 modules weighing up to 180 tonnes each. Additional equipment had been added to some of the buildings after the modules were originally installed on site, so a significant amount of strengthening and temporary bracing was required to carry the additional weight during lifting and transportation.
