Nyrstar Crane Assessments

WGA undertook comprehensive engineering assessments of 38 cranes at the Port Pirie smelter site.

Inspections involved condition assessments of the mechanical, structural and electrical components.

We subsequently delivered a report for each of the cranes which included calculations of the crane’s design life, fatigue assessments, and identification of any remedial works required.

WGA’s assessments identified the future requirements for Major Inspections on the cranes as well upgrades required to ensure the cranes are compliant with the current standards and OHS regulations.
