Port Hedland Berth 1 Conveyor Upgrade

WGA designed an upgraded conveyor system along Wharf 1 in Port Hedland for the Pilbara Ports Authority.

An extension of the existing conveyor reduced transfer points while the redesign of transfer chutes and a mobile conveyor upgrade targeted a reduction in overall complexity lowering potential dust emissions and maintenance downtime.

Communication with the operators on site along with observation of the operation enables WGA to ensure our brownfield designs meet the often complex and conflicting demands of the plant and equipment being modified or upgraded.
