Attachment of Mobile Phone Antennas to Existing Electrical Transmission Towers

WGA has been involved in the structural assessment of existing High Voltage steel lattice transmission towers. We have assessed and verified over 300 towers across Victoria in both country and metropolitan areas, we have also been involved in sites within NSW.

Telecommunication companies like Telstra, Optus and Vodafone attach their antenna infrastructure to the transmission towers to expand and upgrade their mobile networks. WGA provides the technical knowledge and experience to enable our client and Ausnet to determine the acceptable limits of the towers to support the additional attachments.
