Broome Wharf Extension Of Life Works

WGA, together with York Civil, completed a design-and-construct project to extend the life of the Kimberley Ports Authority Port of Broome wharf in North Western WA. The upgrade extends the life of the wharf for an additional 20 years and improve its functionality by constructing a heavy-duty area for a 250 tonne mobile crane. The works were undertaken while the wharf remains fully operational. Works also featured a condition assessment of the wharf elements needed to remain in service.
