Bullawah Wind Farm

Project Overview

BayWa r.e. is set to develop the Bullawah Wind Farm in the Western Riverina region of New South Wales. Once complete, the wind farm will comprise up to 141 wind turbines generating up to 803.7MW, along with a battery facility designed to power up to 500,000 homes.

The project will diversify the local economy by creating ongoing jobs, supporting local suppliers and New South Wales renewable supply chain, integrating with existing farming practices, funding community priorities and upholding environmental care during construction and operations.

WGA was engaged to deliver the preliminary site investigations and surveys for Bullawah Wind Farm, as part of early works to progress the project. Our team supported with:

• Topographical Survey (LIDAR & Feature, Aerial Imagery)

• Culvert Ground Survey

• Hydrology and Flood Studies

WGA’s work supports delivering reliable, affordable renewable energy across the country. By clearly understanding site conditions and through meaningful collaboration, our team was able to help BayWa r.e. move into detailed design and construction confidently, while enabling significant long-term economic benefits for the Riverina community.
