City Tram Extension

WGA provided design services for Adelaide’s $80m North Terrace Tram Extension project to our partners, Downer & York Civil and Aurecon. The project, which is Stage 1 of EastLINK, extends the existing tram service along North Terrace to the old Royal Adelaide Hospital site with future stages to the Eastern suburbs envisaged. It also forms the first leg of the CityLINK loop. Included in this stage is a short spur line to the Festival Plaza and replacement of the tram tracks on Jetty Road, Glenelg. Our team is providing road and tram track design, traffic modelling, road lighting and pavement design.
