Liebherr Crane Unloading

WGA and Patrick Terminals completed the successful unloading of a new Liebherr Group crane at Patrick Terminals – Brisbane AutoStrad. Over 200 individual lifts were successfully completed including 11 heavy lifts using ships cranes with the largest being the tandem lift of the 98-ton main beam.

We conducted the full electrical, mechanical and structural review to Australian standards, reviewed berth loads associated with discharge, assembly and transportation of the fully assembled crane and provided Project Management Services out of our new Brisbane office.

We have performed all of Patrick’s third-party reviews for cranes since 2006 and look forward to continuing to work alongside them to provide consulting services on this impressive project.
