Port Bonython Fender Upgrade

WGA developed a berthing specification for the design of a new fender system to replace a dilapidated fender system for Flinders Port’s Port Bonython facility. The engagement included a study into the likely future vessel sizes over a 40-year period. WGA was then engaged to carry out the detailed design of the new fender system. The fender system was supported by a pile berthing dolphin and comprised a cone fender attached to a steel standoff piece.
