Port Hedland Berth 3

WGA designed the Port Hedland Berth 3 Deck Replacement and Fender Upgrade project in Port Hedland for the Pilbara Ports Authority.

The project involved demolition of the existing reinforced concrete deck and construction of a new high quality and durable concrete deck. During the demolition, the existing overstressed shiploader runway beams were removed and replaced with new box beams to support the shiploader. The existing fender system was also removed and replaced with new super cone fenders to allow the berthing of larger vessel.
