Post Earthquake Assessments

To determine the extent of the impact from a magnitude 7.5 earthquake, Oil Search engaged WGA to undertake civil and structural assessments across multiple sites within Papua New Guinea’s Southern Highlands Province.

The scope included bunds, roads, buildings, footings, foundations and pipe bridges. WGA was then engaged to develop design and scope of works for remediation.

WGA’s design and scope considered the remote, highly inaccessible sites and limited availability of materials.
