Seymour Flood Mitigation Project
Project Overview
The Seymour Flood Mitigation Project comprises a 4.3km levee bank to provide protection to the town of Seymour against a 1 in 100-year flood event associated with the Goulburn River. The height of the levee varies between 1.5-4.0m and incorporates temporary levee structures to maintain public access and amenity at key public realm areas and major access roads. WGA provided detailed engineering design services to support the construction of the levee and consulted with key stakeholders.
