Upper Yorke Peninsula Regional Road Upgrade

The SA Department for Planning, Transport & Infrastructure (DPTI) undertook a new streamlined procurement model which involved the grouping of small-to-medium road projects around the Upper Yorke Peninsula. WGA was selected to provide planning and design services, working with Downer Construction and a single third party for proof engineering, design verification and construction verification services. The common aim of the 20 projects was to improve safety and efficiency for heavy vehicles, motorists and agricultural vehicles. They range from a new roundabout at the junction of the Yorke and Copper Coast Highways to bridge widening at Port Clinton and several intersection upgrades.
