Victoria University Student Accommodation

This $50M development provides accommodation for 500 students in a mix of single occupant studios and multi-occupant apartments. The 13-storey building includes communal spaces, associated resident facilities, administration facilities, ground floor retail, rooftop plant and terraces. WGA was appointed for both the Structural and Civil Engineering design for the project under a Design and Construction contract with the builder. Civil works included on-site detention to limit the stormwater discharge to predevelopment flows. Detention was provided in a combination of an in-ground Versitank system and oversized concrete pipes.
