All Saints Estate Winery
Project Overview
Established in 1864, All Saints Estate is a family-owned winery located on the banks of the Murray River in Wahgunyah, northeast Victoria. In 2020, the winery commenced a program of works to refurbish and expand its facilities, consisting of a new restaurant connected to an existing heritage building.
WGA’s structural engineering work comprised of design and documentation of wall framing and stability elements, support of upper floors including beams and posts, ground floor slab, strip and pad footings, precast and block work walls, facades, shear walls, roof framing design, and careful detailing of the alterations to the existing heritage building structures to preserve its unique original features while the civil engineering comprised design and documentation of underground stormwater drainage, paving, footpaths, levels and grading, onsite detention systems, retaining walls, and steps and ramps. Additional services included Geotechnical investigations and reporting, and seismic engineering for this project.
The project resulted in the successful refurbishment of the All Saints Estate which has allowed the business owners to expand and grow their business. Tailored to support the specific needs of our communities, WGA works closely with clients to drive a fit-for-purpose outcome every time, whether it be refurbishment, rebuild, or expansion.
